Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, taking a deep dive into their historical and current mental health statuses to develop tailored, actionable treatment plans.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' individual goals, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to effectively address mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, marital issues, and other relational challenges.
  • Monitor and document client progress meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans are updated based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to devise comprehensive treatment strategies that enhance the client's overall care experience.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of trends and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily include individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds seeking support for a range of mental health issues, including relationship challenges, emotional disturbances, and personal crises. You will play a critical role in guiding families through difficult transitions and helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • A current and unrestricted Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) in Washington State is mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of clinical best practices and strong ethical standards in therapy is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of nurturing rapport with clients and effectively collaborating with colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in an outpatient practice setting is highly preferred and valued at our clinic.
  • Familiarity with telehealth systems and virtual therapy platforms can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
  • Previous experience in providing group therapy or family therapy sessions will also be considered a strong asset.
Compensation and Benefits

Psych Sonic Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
