Job Description

A Rosemead, California based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide pediatric mental health care. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and has experience with pediatric mental health.

Required Qualifications 

  • CA medical license as NP or PA
  • Master’s Degree (MSN), Doctoral Degree (DNP); Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent
  • Current NP board certification by ANCC/AANP or PA certification
  • CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and diagnosis of pediatric patients
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services 
  • Work within evidence based medicine at all times to provide the best possible care
  • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
