Description:
We are seeking a locum tenens provider for urology.
The position requires call coverage primarily.
The coverage need is for one week per month.
Providers will be scheduled for three or four 24-hour call shifts during that week.
Additional shifts may be available depending on provider comfort and patient census.
Callback time averages 4-5 hours daily, with variations based on cases.
The expected patient encounters per shift is approximately 15.
We require proficiency in general urology skills.
Preferred skills include nephrectomy, ureteroscopy, and robotic surgery.
Certification in BLS is required.
Candidates must be board certified.
The estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
This facility does not require trauma level experience.
