Surgical Technologist

Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Profession: Surgical Services

Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day

4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10

Experience: Minimum of 3 years, preferred 5 years

License: CA state license preferred, pending license accepted

Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA

Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma

Description: Start date: ASAP First time traveler: No Ratios: Not applicable Daily census: 25, 8 rooms Weekend requirements: Per needs of unit Call: Required Float: Required Candidates will be expected to cover a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomy, and laparoscopic assisted procedures. Experience with trauma procedures is a hard stop requirement. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Weekend work is required with variable shift start times possible. Candidates must commit to working a set number of holidays during the contract period. References are required covering the past year. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly, except for agreed-upon interviews. All-time spent on modules during orientation is factored into the non-billable hours.
