What You'll Do
As an Accounting Team Member, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes organized, accurate, and running smoothly.
This role starts with a focus on state tax filings and compliance, and is designed to grow into broader accounting responsibilities over time. We are open to training the right candidate-you don't need prior tax experience to succeed here.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual state tax returns (with training)
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and supporting compliance with state requirements
  • Managing correspondence related to filings (email and phone)
  • Maintaining organized digital and physical records
  • Supporting data entry and basic accounting tasks
  • Working with spreadsheets to track, reconcile, and organize data
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes as you learn the role

About You

You might be a great fit if you:
  • Are comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel or similar)
  • Have strong attention to detail and enjoy getting things right
  • Can stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Are curious and open to learning new systems and processes
  • Communicate clearly and are comfortable asking questions when needed

Nice to have (but not required):
  • Education or coursework in accounting, business, or a related field
  • Experience with data entry, bookkeeping, or administrative work
  • Exposure to accounting systems or payroll
