Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Prospect Behavioral Therapy Services, you will:

  • Establish a positive and trusting rapport with clients, creating a safe space for open communication.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to guide discussions and promote healing.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer clients to specialists when needed, fostering a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with diverse populations, which requires cultural competence and adaptability in your therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and interventions applicable to individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage effectively with diverse client backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
