Summary

We’re looking for a talented Manager of Design to join our in-house Brand Creative team!

The Manager of Design will play a key role in creating fresh, unique, and thoughtful creative across a wide range of touchpoints including social, digital, organic, paid, print, packaging and more. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, passionate, and eager to push and evolve our Prose brand as it grows.

This role reports to our Director of Design, but will also work closely with our VP of Creative as well as other creative and cross functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Visually executes the Prose brand with the highest standards.

• Contributes to all phases of creative production – from concept to execution – across multiple mediums and channels.

• Leads concepting and design on projects across 360 campaigns, digital platforms, print & packaging collateral and more.

• Collaborates cross-functionally across all teams at Prose to ensure the creative work supports all team objectives and hits business goals.

• Works autonomously and collaboratively on multiple projects at a time.

• Helps set, evolve, and maintain our brand guidelines and toolkits.

Key Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in in-house Brand Design and Campaign Development.

• An extremely high bar for quality and a desire to design for a modern, sophisticated, and nuanced brand.

• A keen understanding of how to build and maintain a brand across audiences and channels.

• Ability to balance strong creative with performance and efficiency to meet the needs of an evolving market.

• Extremely detail oriented, while able to step back and see the bigger picture in your design work.

• Optimistic, empathic, and enjoy working as a team to reach shared goals.

• A strong conceptual thinker and seeks opportunities to improve process and evolve creative.

• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience with art direction, video editing and motion graphics is a plus!

In the New York area, the anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 annually (+10% discretionary bonus and equity). Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills. This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Williamsburg office and the expectation is that this person will be in the office 3 days per week.
