Assistant Property Manager in Condominium Community

Job Description Summary

Responsible for assisting community manager with job duties.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of community in a fast-paced environment. Assisting with all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, state & local inspections, etc.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Maintain unit files.


SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
  • General office, bookkeeping and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to take direction and follow through on tasks as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned


EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery. The employee must be able to drive his/her own throughout the complex up to 15% of the day for inspections, etc. Travel may vary in frequency and duration. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
