Job description

Position Summary:
We are hiring a Low Voltage Helper to assist technicians with the installation, service, and maintenance of low-voltage systems. This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity for someone interested in learning the fire alarm, security, and low-voltage trade.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist technicians with pulling wire, running cable, and organizing materials
  • Help install low-voltage systems such as fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV/camera systems, and data cabling
  • Carry tools, ladders, parts, and equipment as needed
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools safely
  • Help keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow instructions from lead technicians, foremen, and supervisors
  • Learn proper installation methods, safety practices, and job site procedures
  • Support daily field work and project completion

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but construction, electrical, low-voltage, or fire/security experience is a plus
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work well with a team
  • Must be able to lift materials and work on ladders when needed
  • Basic tool knowledge is preferred
  • Reliable transportation is preferred
  • OSHA, NCCER, trade school, or electrical/low-voltage training is a plus but not required
