Prooftrading

• Establish and maintain new relationships as the primary conduit of information between Proof and the buyside (institutional investors in US equities).
• Drive our business development strategy – e.g. which customers to most actively pursue, how best to engage with them, canvass clients on which products and features to focus on, pricing strategy, etc.
• Be a face of the company. Learn the intricacies of our product, contribute to its design, and represent our identity and values externally.
• Establish an organized process and strategic vision for client outreach and relationship management.
• Identify and drive adoption with new customers, eventually lead our sales roadmap and significantly contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

About You

General background

• 8+ years of experience in US equities.
• Strong pre-existing network of potential customers (i.e. buyside traders and PMs).
• A strong connection to our mission and values. Proof is not a normal company – we're pretty quirky, and we want to work with others who share our innate curiosity and passion for transparency. This shouldn't feel like just another job or a lotto ticket – we see Proof as a vehicle for doing good in the world, not for making money.
• Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic startup environment and wear multiple hats. This requires significant self-motivation and drive.
• Exceptional experience and capability in your domain.
• Excellent communication skills and an interest in writing on behalf of the company.
• An interest in equity market structure – that is our business after all.

Proof Trading is a lean, nimble team of mission-driven quants and engineers who specialize in institutional US equity trading. We have established an unconflicted agency broker for US equities, focused on execution, and built a first-of-its-kind electronic trading platform in the cloud.

We are live with 4 algorithms, trading US equities with major institutional clients. Our next phase of growth will be to add additional products/algorithms and roll it out to an even broader client base.
