Job description
The Admin/Data Analyst will support Client’s Oil and Gas data-management and records-management activities by processing, organizing, imaging, indexing, uploading, validating, and maintaining technical documents and data. The position will help convert physical and electronic records into organized electronic filing systems and ensure that documents and data are accurately processed, uploaded, and quality-checked in accordance with Client requirements. The Admin/Data Analyst scope includes gathering documents and data, preparing them for scanning and indexing, converting them into electronic formats, loading them into corporate databases, and quality-checking the completed work.
Roles and Responsibilities- Perform document processing, imaging, organization, and maintenance activities.
- Organize technical and regulatory documents into simplified electronic filing systems based on Client requirements.
- Gather physical and electronic documents and data for scanning and indexing.
- Prepare documents and data before scanning or electronic processing.
- Scan and index documents and records.
- Convert documents and data into electronic formats.
- Upload documents and data into Client corporate databases and document repositories.
- Perform quality checks on scanned, indexed, uploaded, and processed documents and data.
- Review documents for completeness, readability, accuracy, and correct indexing.
- Create, review, and maintain document metadata.
- Use SQL queries to retrieve, review, and validate data.
- Identify missing, inaccurate, duplicated, or incorrectly processed records.
- Correct document-processing and data-quality issues in accordance with Client procedures.
- Maintain existing electronic filing systems and stored documentation.
- Support the Government’s control, retrieval, organization, and maintenance of documents and information.
- Process documents in accordance with Client Electronic Document Guidelines.
- Protect Government documents, records, data, and sensitive information.
- Use only Government-authorized systems, equipment, software, and repositories.
- Coordinate document or data issues with the Quality Assurance Analyst, Technical Manager, Project Manager, and appropriate Client personnel.
- Experience using Kofax VRS Document Imaging software.
- Experience performing data-quality assurance.
- Experience in working with Federal Projects.
- Experience using SQL queries.
- Experience uploading and maintaining documents.
- Experience with document preparation, scanning, imaging, indexing, and electronic records processing.
- Ability to accurately process and maintain technical Oil and Gas documentation.
- Ability to work full-time and onsite at the Client Camarillo office.
- Must sign the required Contractor Employee Non-Disclosure Agreement before beginning work.
- Must be eligible to complete the required EOD, background-investigation, suitability, and DOI PIV/HSPD-12 credentialing processes.
The selected candidate must be eligible for Federal credentialing before receiving unsupervised physical or logical access to Client facilities and information systems. The candidate must:
- Obtain Enter on Duty approval before beginning contract work.
- Be either:
- A U.S. citizen; or
- An individual lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence or employment, supported by appropriate immigration documentation.
- Have resided in the United States for a minimum of three years.
- Successfully complete the required identity verification and Federal suitability process.
- Complete the required I-9 identification verification as part of the Federal credentialing process.
- Complete a National Criminal History Check.
- Be eligible for a Federal background investigation, generally NACI or higher, depending on the required access.
- Receive a favorable background-investigation determination to continue working on the contract.
- Obtain and maintain a Government-issued DOI Access Card/PIV credential before receiving unsupervised facility or system access.
- Complete required Bureau/DOI information-security training if access to Government IT systems is required.
- Maintain compliance with Government security, credentialing, privacy, and access requirements.
