Position: Senior Project Manager OR Project Manager – Data Center Construction (Electrical Focus)

Compensation: $105,000 - $180,000 USD base + Comprehensive Benefits

Location: On-site - 100% travelling role includes Per Diem


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale data center construction projects. This role requires a professional with a strong electrical background to direct high-performance field teams, oversee critical MEP systems integration, and manage complete project lifecycles from pre-construction to final commissioning.


Core Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Coordinate day-to-day site operations, field engineering processes, and master schedules for mission-critical construction.
  • Electrical & MEP Oversight: Manage technical execution with a heavy focus on complex electrical infrastructure, equipment procurement, and specialized systems integration.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, cost control tracking, financial reporting, and the subcontractor payment application process.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, design partners, sub-contractors, and equipment vendors.
  • Safety & Quality: Enforce zero-harm safety protocols and champion stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programs on site.
  • Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and coach assigned engineering and field staff to build a high-performance, collaborative team.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience, with a proven track record specifically in data center infrastructure or large-scale industrial/mission-critical facilities.
  • Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of electrical principles, heavy power systems, estimating, purchasing, and construction scheduling.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of trade training and experience).
  • Capabilities: Advanced ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Soft Skills: Superior client-facing communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
