Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies to clients of all ages, focusing on enhancing relational dynamics and family functioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Facilitate various therapy sessions, including individual, group, and family therapy via telehealth platforms, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation following Federal, State, and organizational guidelines, ensuring compliance and fostering accountability.
  • Actively engage in consultations and case discussions with team members to enhance collaborative treatment approaches and share clinical insights.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Project Reach Psychotherapy, you will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families presenting various relational challenges such as communication breakdowns, emotional distress, trauma, and substance use issues. Our diverse patient base benefits from culturally competent care tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, allowing for a broad spectrum of therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • Active LMFT license (or LGMFT under supervision) in Maryland.
  • A Master’s or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related behavioral health field.
  • Strong clinical judgment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working with relational therapy models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Bowen Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient with teletherapy tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, LGBTQ+ affirming practices, or other niche areas.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role.
