Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couple, and family psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs and strengths, forming the basis for individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and Maryland's licensing regulations.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with team members, providing and receiving feedback during supervision and case consultations.
  • Adhere to professional ethical standards while demonstrating sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will include a broad range of individuals, from children to elderly clients, each experiencing unique mental health challenges. You will support clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment disorders, among others. Your skills will play a crucial role in promoting resilience and empowering individuals through therapeutic interventions and resources.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active LCSW-C license in the state of Maryland is required for this role.
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution demonstrates foundational knowledge and skills integral to this position.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and a commitment to culturally sensitive care are essential to the effectiveness of therapy.
  • Self-motivated individuals capable of managing a caseload independently while responding to the needs of clients and families.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred; we will provide training to enhance your comfort with these tools.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting is preferred, ideally with individuals facing similar challenges as our diverse client population.
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions, addressing complex dynamics and fostering a supportive environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies will enhance our ability to provide services effectively in a remote setting.
Compensation and Benefits
