    Job description

    Location: DartMouth, MA
    • Provide day-to-day local/remote desktop support.

    • Handle inbound calls, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions in ticketing systems.

    • Deliver break/fix support, fault diagnosis, and resolution for hardware/software/application issues.

    • Support core operating systems and approved application suites.

    • Ideal candidate: 2–3 years of Windows Desktop support experience.

     
    Key Responsibilities
    • First/second-level contact and problem resolution.

    • Collaborate with third-party vendors for complex AV issues.

    • Maintain timely communication and ticket updates.

    • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows (XP–10), MS Office, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized apps.

    • Basic Mac OS support for Apple users.

    • Printer and hardware installation/troubleshooting.

    • Preventive maintenance and remedial repairs for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

    • Diagnose network connectivity and workstation issues.

    • Broad IT exposure: networks, servers, AV, smart devices, telecoms.

    • Work flexibly in project-based environments.

     
    Minimum Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).

    • Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCP (or higher).

    • Minimum 18 months IT experience.

    • Skills: Windows 7–10, Active Directory, GPOs, MS Office 365, hardware troubleshooting, enterprise AV solutions, helpdesk ticketing systems.

    • Mobile device management (iOS/Android), encryption solutions, AD-based PC/laptop management.

    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet SLAs.

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    • Adaptability in fast-changing environments.

    • Willingness to work off-hours/weekends for projects or emergencies.
