Printing – Saddle Stitcher Operator

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
5 days per week; occasional overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Job Overview

This position is part of the Bindery Department and is responsible for the setup, operation, care, and maintenance of saddle stitching and related bindery equipment. The role includes pocket loading and supporting other bindery functions as required in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Muller Martini Presto E90 saddle stitcher
• Set up and run Duplo Bookletmaker
• Perform routine care, maintenance, and cleaning of stitcher and bookletmaker
• Operate cutter as needed
• Operate CRF score/perf/fold machine as needed
• Perform miscellaneous bindery functions as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work occasional overtime as required
• Strong communication, math, and reading skills
• Ability to stand for the entire shift (breaks provided)
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Muller Martini or similar saddle stitchers
• Previous bindery operations experience
• Experience operating small bindery equipment (paper drills, folders, collators, inserters)
• Mechanical aptitude to maintain and repair small equipment
