Work Environment

The on-site work setting at our hospital facility offers a fast-paced and supportive atmosphere. As an Urgent Care Physician Assistant, you will work primarily Monday through Friday, with a typical shift starting at 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony. You will have access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and systems, enabling efficient patient care and management. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through detailed history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and X-rays, to guide clinical decisions.
• Diagnose and provide treatment for various acute conditions, including but not limited to infections, injuries, and illnesses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, ensuring ongoing management and follow-up.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations while monitoring patient responses and adjusting as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous and organized documentation of patient records while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research to enhance patient care standards.
• Display professionalism in managing the emotional and physical well-being of patients during challenging situations.

Qualifications

• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and a DEA number.
• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or an equivalent program.
• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in urgent care, emergency room, or hospital settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical procedures and patient care standards.

Preferred Experience

• Previous exposure to primary and acute care practices in a busy clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient when navigating high-pressure situations.
• Desire for continuous learning and current knowledge in the field of urgent care medicine.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is highly competitive with a salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, you will enjoy an array of comprehensive benefits including:
