Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises in a home care setting to facilitate recovery and improve functional mobility.
  • Maintain strong patient rapport while delivering exemplary customer service, ensuring that each patient's experience contributes to their overall satisfaction and recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline treatment plans, harnessing a community of care that may involve occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare specialists.
  • Educate and engage patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols, recovery strategies, and self-management techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, using data and observations to inform decisions.
  • Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the clinic’s performance metrics.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists work with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. This role allows you to address a wide array of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management, ensuring that you gain experience across various specialties while making a real difference in each patient's recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
  • Two years of relevant experience in the field of physical therapy, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing effective exchanges with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in word processing and common computer applications.
  • A commitment to building strong relationships with patients and providing empathetic care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in home health care is an advantage.
  • Previous involvement in patient education and rehabilitation program development is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with innovative physical therapy tools and methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, Pro - Ace Recovery Center offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
