Job description

Veterinarian – South Bay (Torrance)

Looking for a practice where you can do great medicine, work with good people, and still have a life outside the hospital? You’ll probably feel right at home at Western Veterinary Group, a modern, privately owned small animal hospital in Torrance serving the relaxed, beach-side communities of the South Bay.

We’re a long-standing, AAHA–accredited practice with a strong reputation and multiple “South Bay’s Best” awards. Our team is experienced, down-to-earth, and genuinely enjoys working together. No corporate pressure, no production drama—just quality medicine, supportive teammates, and clients who trust us.

We’re adding an Associate Veterinarian (with the opportunity for a Medical Director track if leadership or mentorship interests you). The role is flexible and can be shaped around what you love most—whether that’s surgery, complex cases, or helping guide other doctors. You’ll have the autonomy to practice your way, with the backing of a collaborative, well-run private practice.

The good stuff (because it matters):

• 4-doctor team with seasoned RVTs and strong support staff

• 30–60 minute appointments and 1 hour blocked daily for notes/callbacks

• 3+ weeks PTO to actually unplug

$140K-$180K Salary + ProSal %

• Excellent health insurance, generous 401(k), CE, dues & fees covered

• Extra perks and CE for leadership/Medical Director responsibilities

• Flexible scheduling and a true private-practice culture

• In-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiography, therapeutic lasers, and more

If you want a hospital where you’re trusted, supported, and excited to come to work—this could be your spot.
