Key Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through exercise regimens, training in activities of daily living, ambulation techniques, and the effective use of adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting progress and collaborating with therapists to adjust treatment plans when necessary.
  • Conduct assessments and report findings to supervising therapists for ongoing patient evaluation in compliance with practice laws.
  • Foster patient independence and confidence throughout the recovery process, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, including in-service training and educational programs to meet state licensure requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a PTA at Privado Chiropractic will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients of various ages, from pediatric to geriatric, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs. Qualifications
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
  • A current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of New Jersey is required.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent work experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
