Position Overview:
As a Recruiter in our Priority Group Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional candidates from priority groups to join our organization. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to develop strategies and processes that promote diversity and inclusion in our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Outreach:
- Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates from priority groups through various channels, including job boards, social media, and community organizations.
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and other community outreach programs to establish connections with potential candidates.
2. Candidate Screening:
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and alignment with our company culture.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates' technical and soft skills.
3. Diversity and Inclusion Advocacy:
- Work closely with the Diversity and Inclusion team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain candidates from priority groups.
- Advise hiring managers on best practices for conducting inclusive interviews and eliminating bias in the hiring process.
4. Data Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in our diversity and inclusion efforts.
5. Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and respectful candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates.
6. Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with relevant employment laws and regulations, especially those related to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in recruitment, with a focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.
- Passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
