Job Summary:
PrintMail is seeking a Quadient Software Engineer Supervisor who will manage, coach, and mentor the Quadient team while serving as the senior technical authority for all new Quadient solutions. The role involves overseeing multiple client projects, leading AI and automation integration into workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the Quadient team
• Performance review and metric management for direct reports
• Define requirements, monitor project through to completion, ensuring it meets client’s expectations, using workflow architecture and solution design.
• Oversee and support multiple Quadient projects
• Develop and maintain project plans.
• Collaborate with all cross-functional team member to accomplish required tasks and provide project updates.
• Report to Director when tasks are at risk
• Supervise, mentor and coach the Quadient team
• Lead solution design and architecture across all Quadient platform components — Designer, Scaler, ICM, and Approver — including line data parsing, redesign engineering, and template architecture
• Serve as the final approver for all new Quadient solutions, workflows, and product designs prior to development
• Oversee the testing/QA to ensure accuracy and integrity of development and output
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for the Quadient team — own resolution of complex technical issues, production-impacting incidents, and time-critical client deliverables, ensuring timely resolution and complete communication
• Engage with stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership to ensure the product provides all features, tools and integrations needed, in order to accomplish client’s needs.
• Support the engineering team with product upgrades and enhancements where applicable
• Lead the integration of AI and automation tooling into Quadient workflows to reduce onboarding time, accelerate parser development, and improve overall delivery efficiency across the engineering lifecycle
• Continue to learn best-practice and company specific information architecture, software development, and software languages to support the continued improvement of our products
• Work collaboratively with 3rd party vendors and partners where applicable to implement creative product solutions
• Identify gaps in current processes, tooling, and team capability — drive continuous process improvements to decrease project elapsed time, onboarding time, and time-to-production through measurable initiatives
• Report on appropriate metrics to measure the success of the implementation team

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
• 10+ years software engineering experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire (Designer, Scaler, ICM) or equivalent enterprise CCM platforms
• Demonstrated hands-on scripting fluency in JavaScript, Groovy, the Quadient Designer scripting language, and SQL — including stored procedures and integration patterns
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing the needs of multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
• Supervisory experience required
Preferred:
• Financial Services Industry experience preferred
