Reports To: Production Supervisor or Production Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Classification: Non-Exempt


Position Summary

The DTG Production worker supports the production of custom-printed apparel using Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing equipment. This position is responsible for preparing garments, loading and unloading printers, monitoring print quality, and helping orders move efficiently through the production process.

Previous printing or warehouse experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, learns quickly, follows instructions, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare T-shirts and other garments for printing.
  • Load and position garments correctly on DTG printing equipment.
  • Operate DTG printers after completing company-provided training.
  • Unload printed garments and move them to the next stage of production.
  • Review work orders to confirm the correct garment, size, color, quantity, and design.
  • Inspect printed products for proper placement, color, clarity, and overall quality.
  • Identify and report printing errors, damaged garments, equipment concerns, or quality issues.
  • Accurately count, sort, organize, and stage garments throughout production.
  • Meet daily production and quality expectations.
  • Follow established processes while working with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
  • Keep printers, workstations, and surrounding production areas clean and organized.
  • Perform basic equipment cleaning and operator-level maintenance as trained.
  • Follow all warehouse, equipment, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with team members and communicate production concerns to leadership.
  • Assist in other production or warehouse areas when business needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • No previous printing experience required; training will be provided.
  • Ability and willingness to learn DTG printing equipment and production procedures.
  • Dependable and able to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to follow verbal, written, and visual instructions.
  • Ability to remain focused while completing repetitive production tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and learn new processes.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, extended shifts, or weekends during peak production periods.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, apparel, fulfillment, or production experience.
  • Experience operating production equipment or working in a quality-controlled environment.
  • Basic computer or touchscreen equipment skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work for the duration of an 8- to 12-hour shift, excluding scheduled breaks and meal periods.
  • Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and use hands and arms to load and unload garments.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move items weighing approximately 20 to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work around printing equipment, machinery, production noise, heat, inks, and garment-treatment products.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.


Work Environment

This position works in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment. Employees may work around operating machinery, printing equipment, heat-producing equipment, inks, garment-treatment products, and cleaning materials. Production schedules and shift lengths may increase during peak seasons.
