Are you passionate about transforming the shopping experience for millions of Prime members worldwide. Join Amazon's Benefits, Pricing & Constructs team where you'll build innovative technical solutions that directly impact customer satisfaction and engagement. You'll tackle complex architectural challenges that span multiple tech stacks, designing scalable systems that serve millions of Prime members globally.
In this role, you'll drive technical innovation in the benefits space by adopting novel approaches and technologies

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create operationally sustainable solutions while mentoring fellow engineers and contributing to a culture of technical excellence. This is your opportunity to solve challenging problems that cut across diverse technologies while building high-impact products that enhance the Prime membership experience.
Key job responsibilities
Design and implement scalable technical solutions for key Prime benefit products that reach millions of members worldwide, ensuring operational sustainability and performance at scale
Lead technical problem-solving for complex architectural components, contributing to the full software development lifecycle including scoping, design, code, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop architecture solutions and provide meaningful feedback through active participation in code reviews for team members at all levels
Drive technical innovations in the benefits space through adoption of novel approaches and technologies, balancing customer requirements with team operational needs
Mentor junior engineers on software development best practices while documenting team software construction, testing, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing
A day in the life
You'll start your day analyzing performance metrics for Prime benefit systems, then dive into leading technical design sessions with senior engineers to architect solutions for upcoming features. Mid-morning, you'll conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to teammates and ensuring operational excellence standards

Afternoons often involve hands-on development work, implementing scalable solutions that will serve millions of customers, followed by mentoring sessions with junior engineers where you share best practices and guide their technical growth.
