Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, taking into account the interplay between psychological well-being and medical conditions affecting the patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate psychiatric care with medical considerations to provide holistic support.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based methods tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is essential.
• Active and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.
• Proven experience providing mental health services to clients with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on establishing rapport and trust with patients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications is required.
• Ability to operate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
