Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status and needs to tailor individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and clients' families regarding treatment progress and necessary adjustments.
  • Create and manage a schedule of client appointments, including home visits and monitoring sessions to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to enhance client treatment plans and overall service delivery.
  • Document and maintain detailed notes on client progress, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Actively engage in training and development initiatives to certify new staff members in program protocols and documentation practices.
  • Serve as a reliable liaison between the agency and the mental health community, collaborating to support clients' developmental goals.
  • Offer follow-up support through interviews, home visits, and ongoing assessments to address evolving client needs.
  • Assist in developing training materials to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse client population, including both adults and youth facing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will allow you to address specific issues such as trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics through a compassionate, client-centered approach. By implementing personalized treatment plans, you will help clients navigate their paths to recovery and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide therapeutic services.
  • At least two years of relevant counseling experience, demonstrating proficiency in a clinical setting.
  • A solid understanding of the legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Evidence of effective collaboration within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related technology.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
  • Experience in developing treatment plans and behavioral interventions aligned with best practices in mental health care.
