Pride health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse to join our client's home health program in a growing care team serving patients.

Compensation:

• Travel Pay: $2,200 to $2,350 gross per week.

Location: Asheville, NC, 28803

• Shift: 8 Hours/Day, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive home health assessments in both routine and urgent situations.
• Develop, implement, document, and evaluate individualized Plans of Care (POC).
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including OASIS assessments.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, home safety, infection prevention, and self-care.
• Assess, monitor, and manage pain using appropriate interventions.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, venipuncture, phlebotomy, inhalation therapy, and bowel/bladder training.
• Supervise Home Health Aides (HHA/LVN/STNA) to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and agency policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide on-call coverage as assigned.
• Maintain accurate clinical records while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Required Experience:

• Active RN License
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
• OASIS Documentation
• 2+ Years Home Health Experience
• 1–2 Years RN Clinical Experience
• CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable Transportation & Auto Insurance

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited associate degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma program.
• Minimum 2+ years of Home Health experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN clinical experience.
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience – Required.
• OASIS documentation experience – Required.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
• Ability to travel locally for patient visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) certification.
