Hourly Wage: $17.75
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
To efficiently answer incoming calls and direct to the proper company department or employee and professionally greet and assist visitors
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Direct incoming calls to the appropriate recipient while providing an excellent customer experience
• Assist all Pride's visitors in a courteous and professional manner while following all established company visitation policies and procedures
• Function effectively within a high-volume call environment
• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
• Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest
• Must have a willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
• Must convey a positive, calm and patient approach
Must have the ability to:
• Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
• Clearly articulate verbally and/or make inquiries to correctly route incoming calls
• Sit, speak and listen to callers and visitors
Must have:
• Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent web navigation skills
• Excellent personal presence and professional appearance
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Switchboard operator skills or telecommunications equipment skills preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• At least 1 year of experience as a Receptionist/Secretary or in a customer service-based position receiving inbound calls
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION
• High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
