Preventive Minds Counseling P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

You will hold a manageable caseload of clients, establishing meaningful rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine the best course of treatment.
  • Creating and implementing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that address individual client goals and progress.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plan updates, to facilitate continuity of care.
  • Meeting regularly with clients to monitor their progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and guide them through the discharge process when appropriate.
  • Engaging in individual supervision sessions to discuss cases and receive feedback for ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers to provide holistic care, ensuring comprehensive support for each client.
  • Embracing a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to improve your skills and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Preventive Minds Counseling P.C., you will primarily work with an outpatient population that encompasses a wide age range. You will provide psychotherapy services to clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more, adopting a client-centered approach that respects their individuality and needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • A current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Texas.
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience providing direct counseling services in a clinical, outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency in using various software tools, such as electronic medical records (EMR), Excel, Outlook, and other relevant systems.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional experience in the following areas will be beneficial:

  • Delivering individual and family psychotherapy across different age groups.
  • Comfort and proficiency in conducting intake assessments.
  • Experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Compensation and Benefits

Preventive Minds Counseling P.C. offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a performance-based fee-for-service model with guaranteed rates, we provide an array of benefits, including:
