Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

Premier Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center | Washington, PA

This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment focused on helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and function.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

  • Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence

  • Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to supervising therapists

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals and maximizing quality of life

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Current Pennsylvania PTA License

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment

  • Skilled Nursing Facility and Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required

  • Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care
