Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your education and training to perform thorough psychosocial assessments and formulate independent diagnoses, leading to effective treatment for patients.
• Collaborate with patients to create personalized, patient-centered treatment plans, ensuring they are active participants in their recovery process.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving treatment strategies.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, primary care providers, and other service providers, thereby promoting a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Continuously monitor patient progress through systematic tracking of treatment responses, both in person and virtually, and adjust plans as necessary to achieve treatment goals.
• Support psychotropic medication management as prescribed by medical providers, focusing on adherence monitoring and evaluating the efficacy and side effects of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients battling substance use disorders in a Detox Center, providing crucial support as they embark on their recovery journey. This population often includes individuals facing co-occurring mental health issues, highlighting the importance of an integrated treatment approach. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring they receive the holistic care needed to thrive.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in substance use disorder treatment and knowledge of recovery principles.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to mental health treatment and a commitment to continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits
