Job description

Premier Health Partners, PC is a proud partner of Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) and is dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care to our community.

We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused individual to join our ambulatory team as a Medical Scribe. Medical students, pre-med graduates, and applicants pursuing careers in medicine are encouraged to apply.

???? Location: 5959 Big Tree Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127
???? Department: Chestnut Ridge Family Medical Care

???? Shift: Per Diem | Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Job Duties:

  • Record patient encounters, including medical histories, physical exam findings, procedures, diagnostic results, and provider evaluations
  • Enter and update patient information accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Obtain and compile previous medical records, laboratory reports, imaging results, and other pertinent documentation for provider review
  • Support providers in maintaining an organized workflow and timely patient appointments
  • Uphold patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality standards
  • Contribute to smooth clinic operations and a positive patient care experience
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Benefits: The hiring range is between $18.00-$21.00 per year/hour.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalency, required

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience with front desk operations, patient scheduling, phone handling, and customer service, strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and problem solving skills
  • Computer/technical knowledge
