About Us

Premier Fuel Delivery Service is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fuel Dispatcher to join our operations team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating fuel deliveries, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring efficient service across our customer network. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable making real-time operational decisions.

Pay: $24.00/hour during training, $26.50/hour after successful completion of training

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA (In-Person)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch fuel loads throughout a 12-hour operational shift
• Monitor customer inventory levels and proactively prevent supply shortages
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, tank readings, and service requirements
• Coordinate with drivers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries
• Respond quickly to operational disruptions, delays, and schedule changes
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and update information across multiple software platforms
• Submit loading requests and assist with daily operational planning
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through detailed communication and reporting
• Escalate critical issues and provide effective solutions when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or fleet operations preferred
• Fuel, bulk liquid, tanker, or time-sensitive freight experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with dispatch, routing, or fleet management software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of fuel inventory management and delivery scheduling preferred
• Knowledge of HAZMAT transportation regulations and safety procedures preferred

Schedule

• Wednesday: 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM and Thursday - Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Full-time position (40+ hours per week)
