Position Overview

            Calling Agents take on the task of confirming/verifying which accounts still have active refunds and which accounts are dead/expired. By calling dealerships and administrators, they either confirm a refund is still active to be passed along the pipeline, or they find that the account has expired and they note the dead account in Salesforce.

Principle Responsibilities

• Calling Agents are responsible for calling dealerships and administrators to check on the status of refunds for the contracts of each account
• Agents confirm that a refund is either active (still collectible), or if the contract is expired (not collectible)
• When agents confirm that a contract is still active, they create an ancillary refund in Salesforce for the contract. The agent then enters the refund amount, status, and other information that is used by other employees to collect the refund.
• (**ALLY CALLING AGENT**): 1-2 calling agents will be assigned specifically to the Ally Team and will be primarily working on Ally calling accounts.

Principle Objectives and Expectations

• Calling Agents are expected to hit a certain number of calls per day (number is set by Team Lead)
• Agents are expected to treat representatives with courtesy and respect, as keeping a good relationship between P40 and the administrators is of the utmost importance.
• Objective is to confirm ancillary refund amounts for active warranties, and determine if accounts are still active (owed refunds) or are dead/expired accounts

Experience/Ideal Candidate Traits

• Experience working with a high-volume of calls is preferred
• Must be able to talk on the phone for long periods of the day
• Respectful and well-mannered while making the calls and talking to representatives
• Able to keep good notes and obtain all required information for each refund they call on
