We are seeking optometrists to provide mobile eye care at correctional facilities across New Jersey. The position would be as a W-9 employee and not an independent contractor. We provide our optometrists full malpractice insurance as well as all of the equipment necessary to provide high quality mobile eye exams to inmates, including the following:
Portable Phoropter and Phoropter Stand
Hand Held Slit Lamp
Hand Held Tonometer
Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope with 20D Lens
Retinoscope, Direct Ophthalmoscope, & Transilluminator
Portable Visual Acuity Wall Chart
Pachymeter
The major benefits of this position include very competitive pay and flexibility. Part time and full time positions are available as well as half (4 hours) and full days (8 hours). Position could be great for a parent looking to work while their kids are in school while still being able to drop them off and pick them up.
Per diem pay is based on hourly rate of $100/hour! Accepting applications now.
