Preferred Professional Plumbing, a family-owned and operated company in Lombard, IL, is looking for a full-time Lead Plumbing Technician. This plumber role offers competitive pay of $35 – $80 per hour. Overtime opportunities are also available.On-Call Rotation & Additional Compensation:This position includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule. Team members who are called out during their on-call shift will receive additional compensation ("spiff") for each call-out. On-call weekends rotate equally among team members to support work-life balance.We are looking for applicants willing to upsell, and you will receive compensation for the upsells. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR LEAD PLUMBING TECHNICIANAs a Lead Plumbing Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing systems, install, repair, or replace domestic water lines, fixtures, and pumps, and lead troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts for steam, water, and gas distribution systems. You will interpret mechanical and structural blueprints to plan and execute plumbing repairs and modifications while ensuring safety compliance and best practices on every job.
