Job description

Cross-functional Operations — Reports to Founder / CEO

About Precoh

Precoh turns AI regulation into real-world deployment. Our platform, RegOS, transforms fragmented regulatory requirements (FDA SaMD, EU MDR, IMDRF) into structured, executable, and auditable workflows — so clinical AI can be evaluated, approved, and scaled with confidence.

We are early, founder-led, and revenue-generating. The founder is currently carrying commercial, product, partner, and operational responsibilities simultaneously. This role exists to change that — to bring in a senior operator who can own the internal rhythm of the company so that the founder can focus where Precoh needs them most.

Why this role exists

At this stage of Precoh's growth, the biggest risk is not market fit or product capability — it is operational bandwidth. We are managing a growing number of client engagements, partnership conversations, product milestones, and hiring decisions simultaneously, with insufficient infrastructure to run them cleanly.

The Chief of Staff / Operations Lead is a force‑multiplier role. You will build the internal systems — decision frameworks, operating cadences, reporting structures, and project tracking — that allow Precoh to scale from a founder‑run operation to a durable company. You will be in every important conversation, own the follow‑through on every major initiative, and have direct input into how Precoh allocates its resources as it grows.

This is not a coordinator role. It is a senior operator role for someone who has seen how high‑performing early‑stage companies run — and wants to build one.

What you will own
  • Design and run Precoh's operating system: weekly rhythms, cross‑functional reviews, decision frameworks, OKR tracking, and board/investor reporting cadence.
  • Own follow‑through across commercial, product, advisory, and partnership workstreams — tracking commitments, surfacing blockers, and ensuring the right things get done without the founder needing to chase every thread.
  • Lead strategic project management for high‑priority initiatives — new market entries, partnership negotiations, regulatory body outreach, and product launch sequencing.
  • Manage vendor relationships, legal and compliance workflows, finance operations (AR/AP, budgeting, cash flow tracking), and people operations as Precoh scales its team.
  • Prepare the founder for external engagements: conference presentations, investor meetings, regulatory body conversations, and partnership pitches — briefings, talking points, and follow‑up artifacts.
  • Build Precoh's internal knowledge base — playbooks, templates, onboarding materials, and process documentation — so institutional knowledge compounds rather than walks out the door.
What you will do day‑to‑day
  • Run the weekly leadership operating review — preparing agendas, synthesizing status across all workstreams, capturing decisions, and distributing action items with owners and deadlines.
  • Manage the founder's time and priorities: weekly scheduling, meeting preparation, triage of inbound requests, and protection of deep‑work blocks.
  • Draft and edit external communications — partner proposals, investor updates, conference submissions, and regulatory body correspondence — at a level that ships without a heavy editing cycle.
  • Track and manage key commercial milestones — pilot delivery timelines, contract renewals, partner activation steps, and conference deadlines.
  • Own recruiting operations: job posting management, candidate pipeline tracking, interview scheduling, offer logistics, and onboarding for new hires.
  • Identify and flag operational risks early — capacity constraints, timeline slippage, process gaps — with recommended solutions rather than just problem statements.
Must‑have qualifications
  • 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, operations leadership, strategy, or management consulting role — with at least 2 years inside an early‑stage company (Series A or earlier) or a high‑velocity growth environment.
  • Exceptional written communication: you can draft a board memo, an investor update, a partner proposal, and an all‑hands summary — all at the level where they ship without rewriting.
  • Systems thinker and builder: you do not just manage processes — you design them. You have built operating cadences, decision frameworks, and tracking systems from scratch.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity: you are comfortable owning things that do not have clear precedent, and you default to action and iteration rather than waiting for a perfect playbook.
  • Atlanta‑based: this role requires significant in‑person collaboration with the founder and visiting clients and partners.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA, MPH, MHA, JD, or equivalent advanced degree preferred — particularly with a healthcare, strategy, or operations focus.
Strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare, health‑tech, life sciences, or another regulated industry — either as an operator or as a consultant/advisor to companies in those spaces.
  • Background in management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big Four healthcare practice, or equivalent) with direct experience supporting C‑suite clients through growth or transformation.
  • Exposure to the clinical AI, RegTech, or health IT ecosystem — you understand who the buyers are, how procurement works, and why the regulatory environment matters.
  • Experience supporting a fundraising process — data room preparation, investor communications, due diligence coordination.
  • MBA, MPH, JD, or equivalent advanced degree with a healthcare or strategy focus.
Nice to have
  • Direct experience in a founder‑adjacent role at a healthcare AI, digital health, or regulated software company.
  • Existing relationships in the Atlanta healthcare, innovation, or venture ecosystem.
  • Experience coordinating regulatory affairs or compliance workflows — legal reviews, FDA correspondence, privacy compliance, or HIPAA‑related operations.
  • Competitive base salary calibrated to experience and seniority.
  • Performance‑based variable compensation tied to company‑level milestones.
  • Meaningful founding‑team equity grant.
  • Health, dental, vision; 401(k); flexible PTO; conference and professional development budget.

Precoh is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
