As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll play an important role in supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey. You’ll work closely with the clinical team to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients.

Pay: $18–$22/hour — competitive pay based on experience

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of behavioral health, mental health, or substance use experience preferred
• CDCA preferred/required as applicable
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to helping others
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

What You'll Do

• Support clients throughout their treatment and recovery
• Assist with admissions, intake, orientation, and transportation
• Monitor client safety and wellbeing
• Complete shift reports and required documentation
• Observe and report changes in client behavior or condition
• Assist with de-escalation and behavioral concerns
• Facilitate client orientation groups and meetings
• Monitor family visits and medication pass, when applicable
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
• Participate in staff meetings and required training
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
