The Mechanic Apprentice is an entry-level position designed for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a keen desire to learn manufacturing and machining processes. Working under the mentorship of a team of experienced mechanics, the apprentice will develop hands-on skills in machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quality inspection, primarily focused on custom machining and precision parts. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience with no travel requirements and potential career growth into a full mechanic position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setups and tooling changes for precision parts production
• Learn and perform machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers accurately
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety protocols and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with a team of mechanics for guidance and support

Required Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and tooling setup
• Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
• Proficiency in using measuring tools

Preferred Qualifications
