What You’ll Do

The Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partnering is a senior HR executive responsible for aligning enterprise people strategies with business priorities across PracticeTek. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, partnering closely with the CHRO and senior business leaders to build high-performing organizations through organizational effectiveness, executive coaching, workforce planning, talent strategy, change leadership, and employee relations.

The Senior Director leads the HR Business Partner organization in a player-coach capacity, directly supporting key executives while building consulting capability across the HRBP function. This leader translates enterprise people strategy into scalable business practices that improve organizational performance, strengthen leadership capability, and enable PracticeTek's continued growth.

Working in close partnership with the Director of HR Operations, this role ensures HR delivers integrated, business-focused solutions while preserving PracticeTek's culture during periods of rapid growth and transformation.

Success in this role requires exceptional business acumen, executive presence, organizational effectiveness expertise, strong judgment, data-informed decision making, and the ability to influence leaders through trusted partnerships.

Essential Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, aligning enterprisepeoplestrategies with business priorities.

• Partner closely with the CHRO to shape organizational strategy, workforce planning, leadership capability, and talent priorities.

• Lead the HR Business Partner organization while directly supporting a portfolio ofseniorleaders.

• Translate enterprise people strategy into business-specific action plans that improve organizational performance and business outcomes.

• Build trusted relationships across the organization and influence strategic business decisions through workforce insights, data, and sound business judgment.

Organizational Effectiveness & Talent Strategy

• Lead enterprise workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

• Partner withseniorleaders to strengthen organizational capability and prepare the business for continued growth.

• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and talent discussions.

• Design and implement programs that strengthen manager effectiveness, leadership capability, coaching, and accountability.

• Build organizational capability by developing scalable consulting practices across the HR Business Partner team.

Executive Coaching & Employee Relations

• Coach executive and senior leaders through complex employee relations matters, organizational change, leadership effectiveness, conflict resolution, and performance management.

• Guide leaders through difficult employment decisions while balancing compliance, organizational risk, employee experience, and business objectives.

• Lead complex employee relations investigations and resolutions involving senior leaders and high-risk situations.

• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, inclusion, and continuous feedback across the organization.

Change Leadership & Culture

• Lead HR workstreams supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, reorganizations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Develop enterprise change management strategies that improve adoption, communication, and leadership effectiveness.

• Champion employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, leadership effectiveness, andthe employeeexperience.

• Analyze engagement surveys, workforce insights, and organizational feedback to identify priorities and recommend enterprise action plans.

• Help preserve and strengthen PracticeTek's culture during periods of rapid growth and organizational change.

HR Leadership

• Lead and develop a high-performing HR Business Partner organization through coaching, mentoring, and strategic development.

• Establish governance, operating rhythms, consulting standards, and partnership models that strengthen consistency and business impact.

• Build consulting capability across the HRBP function while creating clear expectations for strategic partnership.

• Partner closely with the Director of HR Operations to deliveran integrated, seamless employee experience and scalable HR solutions.

• Represent HR in executive planning discussions and serve as the senior HR advisor to assigned business leaders.

Your unique talents are whatmakesyou shine.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.

• 2+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.

• 7+ years leading HR Business Partner organizations or serving as a senior HR Business Partner to executive leadership teams.

• Demonstrated experience partnering directly with executive and C-suite leaders in a high-growth organization.

• Proven success leading enterprise organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, leadership development, and business transformation initiatives.

• Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing HR teams through coaching and mentorship.

• Deep expertise in organizational design, executive coaching, employee relations, talent management, succession planning, and change leadership.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to measurable business outcomes.

• Experience supporting SaaS, healthcare technology, and/or private equity-backed organizations preferred.

• Exceptional executive presence, communication, presentation, analytical, consulting, and relationship-building skills.

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex organizational challenges into practical, scalable solutions while influencing leaders at all levels

The Fine Print (That Really Matters)

At PracticeTek, we determine compensation by considering market data, internal equity, and each candidate’s skills and experience. For this position, we reasonably expect to pay between$195-$200k, plus 15% bonus. This role is also eligible for benefits, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or equity, as applicable.
