Our Installation Technicians work independently (typically as a two-man crew assigned to their own custom installation crane truck), enjoy working outdoors, are hands-on, mechanically inclined, construction-minded, and safety conscious. They are detailed oriented, like to solve problems, appreciate a variety of work and have a deep sense of pride and responsibility in a job well done.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully transport all signage, tools, hardware, and materials to the job-site location safely.
• Prepare the site for installation by setting up a secure safety perimeter, removing old signage (if required), and prepare the surface or structure for new signage.
• Read and understand the Sign Plan, able to effectively measure, place, and install all sign elements of the project according to the Sign Plan.
• Perform the work in accordance with all safety protocols.
• Clear debris and materials from the site after each installation.
• Clear debris and materials from company vehicles after each installation. 
• Perform maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with company and safety protocols.
• Maintain all necessary communication with the Project Coordinator, and Director of Operations during the course of the installation of the project.
• Complete required daily documentation. 
  Obtain and maintain all required licenses in a timely manner as set forth by the company.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years' experience in a related field (Sign Installation Technician, Electrical Apprentice, General Construction, Landscaping).
• Valid CDL, Class B, or ability to obtain one. A clean driving record is a must.
• Massachusetts & Rhode Island Sign Crane Licenses are a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, metal fabrication and welding are a plus.
• A sound understanding or ability to learn of the applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures.
• The ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor including lifting and climbing.
• Able to work at various heights in the air (from a ladder, crane, personnel lift) without concern.
• The ability to work in harsh weather conditions as needed.
• Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and overnights (including per diem) as needed.
