We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of ASTM Compliance & Quality Assurance to join our team in Hastings, MI. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with ASTM regulations. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in alignment with ASTM standards.
• Oversee the quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, promoting professional development and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in ASTM regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and compliance status to senior management.
• Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization, encouraging employee engagement and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM standards and quality management systems.
• Proven track record of successfully leading quality assurance initiatives and teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) are a plus.
