Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments, identifying functional limitations and disabilities to formulate tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement and adjust treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations, ensuring compliance with the latest standards and regulations in physical therapy.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment methodologies and necessary lifestyle modifications to facilitate recovery.
  • Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, offering consultation and contributing to a cohesive approach to patient care through communication and joint decision-making.
  • Participate in outreach initiatives and departmental functions to enhance community awareness and promote the clinic's services.
  • Engage in ongoing education to further professional development and stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and students, ensuring the highest level of care and educational experience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of the Powerback Physical Therapy Clinic is on orthopedic rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, post-traumatic conditions, and degenerative joint diseases. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as a physical therapist in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits

Powerback Physical Therapy Clinic offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
