Looking for a job where you’re not stuck behind a desk all day? Join the team at Power Townsend as a Lumber Yard Associate.
This is a hands-on, active position where you’ll help customers, work with lumber and building materials, operate equipment, and learn practical skills along the way. Experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What You'll Do
  • Help customers find and load lumber and building materials.
  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service.
  • Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
  • Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory.
  • Keep lumber stacks and yard areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Verify customer orders for accuracy before loading.
  • Learn about lumber, building materials, hardware, and home improvement products.
  • Work alongside a team and jump in where help is needed.
  • Follow company safety procedures and operating standards.
