Work Environment

The position is offered in an onsite hospital setting, providing access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and resources. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling healthcare professionals to enjoy a work-life balance while dedicating their efforts to patient rehabilitation. Each therapist manages a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing ample time for thorough evaluations and personalized treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical needs and formulate individualized therapy programs that address their specific conditions.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and physical interventions to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Effectively communicate treatment plans and progress updates to patients and their families, ensuring they are informed and engaged in the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement care strategies that optimize patient outcomes and support multi-disciplinary approaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, ideally utilizing the WebPT system, to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients suffering from orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. The diverse patient demographic includes both adults and seniors, requiring the therapist to apply a variety of treatment techniques and adapt care strategies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• A valid Michigan PT license is mandatory for this position.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skills are essential for effective patient treatment.
• Exceptional communication and clinical judgment abilities are necessary for fostering strong relationships with patients and collaborating with the clinical team.

Preferred Experience

• While prior outpatient experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement; we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow.
• Experience with EMR platforms, particularly WebPT, is advantageous but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
