Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients through secure telehealth platforms, utilizing video calls or phone sessions as needed.
• Help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions to identify strategies for overcoming obstacles in their lives.
• Develop, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans that correspond to each client’s specific goals and mental health challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adherence to telehealth protocols and standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to promote best practices and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Positive Living Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a safe space where clients can express themselves and work through their mental health concerns in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active mental health professional license (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent) in New York is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling or therapy, demonstrating a dedication to client care and growth.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Positive Living Behavioral Health offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
