Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health concerns, identifying specific challenges and developing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, healing from trauma, and improving mental health outcomes.
  • Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients and monitor their progress, adjusting treatment methods as necessary to ensure effective support.
  • Provide virtual therapy solutions to accommodate clients who may have mobility issues or prefer remote counseling.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation aligned with ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through training sessions and workshops to enhance clinical skills and remain current with the latest therapeutic practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Positive Life Therapy, you will work with a diverse group of clients dealing with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care that respects the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients, helping them navigate their unique struggles.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

  • Empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, promoting a supportive therapeutic environment.
