Positive Intentions, LLC is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed initial assessments to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, employing validated assessment tools and collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based counseling to individuals experiencing various mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction, utilizing methods that resonate with their lived experiences.
• Regularly monitor client progress through structured sessions and adapt treatment approaches based on advancements or setbacks in their journey towards health.
• Provide timely crisis intervention services, including suicide prevention strategies and comprehensive risk assessments, ensuring clients receive immediate support during crises.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, liaising with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other social workers to coordinate comprehensive client care and ensure continuity across treatment interventions.
• Maintain precise and detailed client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical practice standards, ensuring all documentation reflects the nature of client interactions and treatment provided.
• Actively participate in continuing education and professional development activities, such as workshops and seminars, to remain current with the latest treatment research and methodologies in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, which necessitates a culturally competent approach to care. Your skills in building rapport and providing empathy will be essential in helping clients to feel supported and understood throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field that equips you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Possession of an active LCSW license in Pennsylvania, allowing for independent practice in mental health counseling.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with individuals facing mental health issues in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team dynamic, contributing to a positive and productive workplace atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in community health settings and familiarity with the challenges faced by underserved populations.
• Knowledge of and experience with various evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Demonstrated passion for mental health advocacy and continuous learning in the field.
