Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and challenges.
• Designing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual client goals, and regularly revising these plans based on client progress.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic interventions to facilitate client healing and development.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the holistic needs of clients.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential client records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards throughout your practice.
• Participating in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will engage with a diverse client base, addressing a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction. Your expertise will be instrumental in treating clients with varying backgrounds and needs, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and understanding. You will contribute to building a safe therapeutic space where clients can share their experiences and work toward achieving emotional stability and resilience.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida is a must.
• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least one year of professional counseling experience is essential, with a focus on conducting therapy sessions for individuals and groups.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions in mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with a varied clientele.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in addiction counseling or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate client documentation.
• Previous experience working within a community health setting or clinic environment is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
