Job description

Job Summary
The Portola Valley School District is seeking capable, qualified individuals to substitute on an as-needed basis for office staff and paraeducators (classroom aides). The District utilizes the Frontline/AESOP online sub calling and notification system. Knowledge of this system is not required.
HOURLY RATE FOR CLASSIFIED STAFF SUBSTITUTE ASSIGNMENTS:
Full Day Assignment: The work day hours and rate of pay is dependent upon the assignment:
Paraeducator I (General Education): $29.46/hour
Paraeducator III (Special Education): $32.72/hour
Office Secretary (Ormondale and Corte Madera): $40.13//hour

SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS: The Portola Valley School District is seeking capable, qualified individuals to substitute on an as-needed basis for office staff and paraeducators (classroom aides). LOCATION: Portola Valley School District:
Ormondale School (TK/K-3)
Madera School (4-8)
WORK SCHEDULE: As needed during the school year (late August through mid June) The work day hours and rate of pay is dependent upon the assignment:
  • Paraeducator I (General Education): $24.10/hour
  • Paraeducator III (Special Education): $28.54/hour
  • Custodian: $30.32/hour
  • Office Secretary (Ormondale and Corte Madera): $35.00//houR
