POSITION SUMMARY:
Conduct all initial registrations and/or evaluations for adolescents and adults seeking services at Porter Starke Services. Conduct crisis evaluations for adolescents and adults with mental health and substance abuse needs, when necessary.

JOB DUTIES:
-Prepares new client registration and intake for outpatient services and programs.
-Provides information and referrals to community services both in person and via the telephone.
-Complete thorough intake evaluations, triage assessments and registrations.
-Answer client phone calls.
-Understands Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance programs in regards to coverage limitations and restrictions.
-Maintains and assures client confidentiality.
-Cross-train at all Admissions locations in the Porter-Starke network in order to provide support as needed as the various office locations, as deemed necessary by the Director of Acute Intensive Services.
-Completes electronic and paper medical record documentation as required.
-Provides crisis intervention services on-site or at contracted ED locations, when needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
Mental health experience preferred, but not required.
CPR certification is required, Porter-Starke can provide if needed.
